# Sequencer Render To Video

Task: `TODOS.phase-72.72.15.2.11`

Sequencer render to video is a V2Editor TimelineVisualizer export surface for
queueing a validated sequence render as MP4 or MOV with configurable resolution,
framerate, frame range, warmup, overwrite, and audio mixdown options.

## Runtime API

- Panel spec: `FV2SequencerRenderVideoPanelSpec`
- Preset: `FV2SequencerRenderVideoPresetSpec`
- Request: `FV2SequencerRenderVideoRequest`
- Job: `FV2SequencerRenderVideoJob`
- Result: `FV2SequencerRenderVideoResult`
- Format enum: `EV2SequencerRenderVideoFormat`
- Issue enum: `EV2SequencerRenderVideoIssueType`

`QueueSequencerRenderVideoExport` accepts the current sequence, panel spec,
export presets, and request. It validates the sequence camera track, output
path, format, resolution, framerate, and frame range, then returns a queued
Movie Render Pipeline job with deterministic output file path and size/duration
estimates.

## Behavior

- The panel targets `TimelineVisualizer`, supports MP4 and MOV, and exposes
  resolution/framerate overrides.
- Default presets include `RenderVideo.Preset.MP4.1080p60` using `H264.MP4` and
  `RenderVideo.Preset.MOV.4K24` using `ProRes.MOV`.
- Requests provide an export id, output directory, file name stem, format,
resolution, framerate, frame range, warmup frames, audio mixdown, overwrite
  behavior, and output format.
- Output paths are generated from the requested directory, file name stem, and
  format extension.
- Exports require at least one camera track with a binding id.
- Results expose the queued job, output path, total frames, estimated duration,
estimated size, Movie Render Pipeline queue state, audio mixdown state, and
  overwrite state.

## QA Inventory

- Panel: verify MP4/MOV support, resolution override, framerate override, Movie
Render Pipeline use, supported formats, and progress state.
- Presets: verify MP4 and MOV presets validate with matching codecs/extensions.
- MP4: verify 1080p60 export queues and writes an `.mp4` output path.
- MOV: verify 4K24 export queues and writes a `.mov` output path.
- Options: verify audio mixdown can be omitted and overwrite state is preserved.
- Off-path: reject missing camera tracks, unsupported format surfaces,
resolutions above panel max, invalid framerates, missing output paths, and
  frame ranges beyond sequence duration.

`js_repl` Playwright interaction was unavailable in this session and the
affected surface is Unreal editor data rather than browser-rendered UI, so
verification is through UE editor automation and contract gates.
