# ADR: Identity Reconciliation

## Decision

`@oshun/identity` is the canonical account, profile, entitlement, and
cross-progression authority for V2. EOS remains the default platform online
provider for friends, presence, lobbies, and matchmaking transport, but EOS IDs
are linked identities, not the primary V2 account record.

## Implementation Contract

- V2 login creates or resolves an `@oshun/identity` account first.
- Platform IDs are stored as linked credentials.
- Offline guest play may use a local unsigned profile, but ranked, purchases,
  cloud saves, UGC publishing, cross-progression, and ban appeals require an
  `@oshun/identity` account.
- Account merge, unlink, and deletion flows must preserve audit records required
  by compliance tasks.
