# Heist Mode

Section 122 defines `Mode.Heist`, a 1-4 player multi-stage co-op mode combining
stealth, driving, and fighting in a single mission with branching objectives and
original V2 narrative arcs.

## Stage Structure

Each heist is authored as five required stages:

- Recon stage: open-world stealth observation, photograph targets, plant
  equipment, and identify guard patterns.
- Approach stage: drive to the objective and evade detection or overcome a
  roadblock.
- Infiltration stage: stealth or breach entry, fight through guards, and use a
  fighting ruleset per encounter.
- Extraction stage: drive away with police pursuit from Section 103, crew
  defending, and Power-Play opportunities from Section 105.
- Resolution stage: cinematic outcome based on choices.

## Roles

The crew-role model cross-references Section 117.1. Hacker owns stealth plus a
hacking minigame and hacking puzzle. Wheelman owns the driving challenge. Muscle
owns fighting encounters. Strategist owns planning assists, tags targets, and
triggers Power-Play events.

## Loot And Consequences

Successful heists grant a large currency reward, rare cosmetic items, signature
vehicle unlocks, and faction influence boost through Sections 22.5 and 99.7.
Failure still grants partial payout, but applies a heat-level spike through
Section 103.2 and a per-crew-member loyalty hit through Section 117.1.

## Branching And Replay

Every heist has exactly three decisions that change stage sequence or final
cinematic. Branches are targetable on replay so completionists can chase every
route and cinematic outcome.

## Online And Solo

Online 4-player heist support cross-references Section 92 with per-player role
assignment, session host migration, and per-player loot share. Solo heist
support fills empty roles with AI crew and pays 75% of co-op rewards.

## Signature Events

Section 83 live service schedules a per-quarter signature heist as a themed
limited-time event. The launch rotation covers Casino Heist, Bank Vault, Yacht
Heist, Train Robbery, and Stadium Concert Heist, each with a cinematic narrative
arc and exclusive cosmetic rewards.
