# V3 Service-Worker Cache Validation

`v3-service-worker-cache-budget.v1` is the release gate for the `V3/V3_TODOS.md`
§67 web service-worker cache item.

## Gate

- Scope: Tier-2 web fallback (`apps/v3/lilith-web-fallback`).
- Service worker: `/v3-tier2-sw.js`.
- Cache: `oshun-v3-tier2-cache-v1`.
- Required cached assets: Commons, Tara Studio, Saraswati Stage, and the Tier-2
  Commons reference image.
- Cold-cache cold join: <= 5,000 ms.
- Warm-cache cold join: <= 3,000 ms.
- Browser coverage: Playwright desktop and mobile.

## Evidence

`V3/validation/service-worker-cache-validation.json` records cold-cache cold
join at 4,615 ms and warm-cache cold join at 2,380 ms. The runtime exposes the
same budget evidence as data attributes on the Tier-2 shell, and the Playwright
coverage probes the service worker directly with `V3_CACHE_PROBE`.

Run `pnpm verify:v3 service-worker-cache` before release. The verifier fails
closed if the worker file, app registration, cache probe, Playwright coverage,
budget evidence, or TODO lock is missing or weakened.
