# Lilith Commons Help Center

surface: Commons route: `/lilith` status: GA help article

## What Commons Is

Lilith Commons is the shared V3 venue surface for social rooms, solitary cells,
Nisaba open stacks, Arete review spaces, Metis lecture rooms, Veritas debate
rooms, and re-rendered V1 experiences. The help article applies to native,
browser, VR, Pixel Streaming, and Tier-2 fallback launch paths.

## Primary Tasks

1. Enter a Commons venue from the launch dialog.
2. Choose social, observer, or privacy-preserving participation modes.
3. Open Nisaba passage panels, Arete journal walls, Metis lecture notes, or
   Veritas citation surfaces.
4. Use report, block, captions, audio descriptions, reduced-motion,
   photosensitive-safe, single-switch, and one-handed controls.

## Privacy and Moderation Controls

- Room consent choices determine whether avatar motion, voice, and presence are
included in recordings or shared surfaces.
- Solitary cells are private by default and publish only after explicit opt-in.
- Veritas debate rooms preserve citations and turn-machine audit trails.
- Reports route to Lilith-Safety with the room id, venue id, and evidence bundle
  reference.

## Troubleshooting

- If your connection drops briefly, the room reconnects automatically with your
spot and session state preserved; reconnect is budgeted at under three
seconds. If a room fails to load entirely, retry from the launch dialog.
- If a venue is region-limited, the router shows the supported availability path
instead of joining a restricted POP.
- If the Tier-2 fallback renderer is selected, expect reduced fidelity with the
same captions and core consent controls.

## Escalation

Support code: `help:commons:ga`

Escalate room overload to the incident commander, moderation or abuse issues to
Lilith-Safety, privacy or DSAR issues to Lilith-Privacy, and venue content
issues to Commons Editorial.
