# V2 Aphrodite Age Gate

`@v2/aphrodite-age-gate` replaces the standalone V2 age gate with a backend
driver from `@aphrodite/age-verification`.

The bridge controls:

- gore tier;
- adult fatalities;
- region-conditional cinematics.

The Aphrodite brand is not shown to players. The service is a backend compliance
driver, emits V2 age-gate decision topics, and stays off rollback.

The bridge uses the mature-game primitive profile from
`@aphrodite/age-verification`, not the adult-content default profile. The
profile keeps 2257, performer-protection, and anti-CSAM performer workflows out
of V2 game content gating, uses rating-board and region-rule thresholds, and
hands minor-account decisions to platform family controls.
