# User-Persona Acceptance Matrix (YSD-0109)

Compiled 2026-07-18. Maps each proposal §6 persona to their jobs, the §7
journeys that exercise them, the checklist items whose completion constitutes
acceptance for that persona, and the lens/domain dependencies. This matrix is
the persona-side index into the Section 22 definition of done: a persona is
served only when every listed acceptance item is proven.

## 1. Learner filmmaker (§6.1)

- **Jobs:** understand how camera, staging, acting, editing, production design,
  sound, and narrative work together; start from questions, not taxonomies;
  needs definitions, guided lenses, exercises.
- **Journeys:** §7.1 bring in a source, §7.2 deconstruct a scene, §7.6 practice
  and review.
- **Acceptance items:** YSD-1030 walking skeleton; YSD-22001–22007 (project,
  rights decision, hierarchy correction, multi-level observations, real lenses,
  output identity, epistemic distinction); YSD-2021 StudyQuestion
  (question-first entry); Section 9 film lenses per the YSD-0126 selection;
  Section 14 exercises (YSD-22015).
- **Depends on:** Hathor (narrative/shot/lighting), Aja (motion), Euterpe
  (sound), Metis (exercises), Sophia (anchors), Nisaba (notebook).
- **Non-negotiable:** manual study must work with zero models (Gate 12,
  YSD-18141) — this persona is the walking-skeleton user.

## 2. Learner game developer (§6.2)

- **Jobs:** study mechanics, feedback, level flow, combat readability, camera,
  animation, UI, audio, economy, narrative, player decision-making; captured
  footage only for external titles, deep runtime data for own builds; connect
  reference systems to original decisions **without assuming visually similar
  games share systems**.
- **Journeys:** §7.5 study a game system, §7.7 inspiration system, §7.8 transfer
  into production.
- **Acceptance items:** Section 12 tiers (video-only Tier A honest for external
  titles — YSD-22031; instrumented Tier B/C for owned builds); YSD-2074–2077
  game anchors + sync uncertainty; Gate 9 (YSD-18138); Gate 16 (YSD-18145 —
  lookalike mechanics never silently merged, the §6.2 constraint verbatim);
  YSD-22016 transfer with backlink.
- **Depends on:** Bellona + product runtimes (replay/telemetry), Hathor (MDA),
  the YSD-0127 first-game decision (V2 is the candidate).
- **Non-negotiable:** external commercial titles never get instrumented analysis
  (Section 21 anti-feature tests).

## 3. Actor, animator, or director (§6.3)

- **Jobs:** compare performances/movement at beat level; inspect face, voice,
  breath, posture, gaze, gesture, blocking, timing, camera relationship;
  rehearse alternatives; review attempts.
- **Journeys:** §7.3 build an anger atlas, §7.6 practice and review.
- **Acceptance items:** YSD-22004 (beat/frame/region observations); YSD-22008
  (synchronized comparison 2–8 examples, YSD-22011 matrix >8); Section 10
  Emotion/Performance Atlas; Section 14 practice attempts with consent
  (YSD-2046); Gate 7 (YSD-18136 private performance consent), Gate 8 (YSD-18137
  bias/dignity), Gate 13 (YSD-18142 feedback does not mandate imitation).
- **Depends on:** Aja (pose/motion), Euterpe (voice), Yemaya performance
  vocabulary, Iris (accommodations).
- **Non-negotiable:** behavior-description only — no real-state emotion
  inference, gaze/fatigue/authenticity scoring excluded (YSD-4052; flagged
  analyzers listed in section-29-evidence.md).

## 4. Character, costume, and concept artist (§6.4)

- **Jobs:** high-resolution regions, silhouettes, material/garment terminology,
  accessory function, wear states, color relationships, historical/cultural
  context, design-to-story links, synthesis into an original character/world
  system with traceable decision history.
- **Journeys:** §7.4 study a character design, §7.7 inspiration system, §7.8
  transfer.
- **Acceptance items:** YSD-22009 (whole-image + exact-region pinning with
  do-not-copy notes); YSD-22010/22012 (typed connections; original concept
  system with coverage/contradiction/concentration checks); YSD-22013 (creative
  decision with transformation + backlinks); Gate 14 (YSD-18143 transfer
  originality); Gate 15 (YSD-18144); YSD-4072 (source-backed cultural claims
  with applicability limits).
- **Depends on:** Aglaea (garment/fashion semantics — needs media-region
  grounding added), Neith/Maya (3D asset inspection for own assets), resolution
  limits from RightsGrant constraints (YSD-4003/4031).
- **Non-negotiable:** high-resolution crops obey grant-specific resolution
  limits; cultural terminology carries taxonomy authorship (YSD-4072).

## 5. Teacher, mentor, or team lead (§6.5)

- **Jobs:** create source-safe study sets, assign guided analyses, review
  evidence, comment on interpretations, publish rubrics, monitor growth
  **without turning taste into a fake objective score**.
- **Journeys:** §7.6 practice and review (assigning side).
- **Acceptance items:** Section 14 teaching workflows (assignment, rubric,
  moderation per YSD-0137 policy decision); YSD-2045 PracticeExercise with
  accommodations; YSD-2047 MasteryRecord explicitly separated from
  taste/originality scoring; YSD-4074 classroom moderation; YSD-4054 minor
  consent controls; YSD-22015 (exercise → attempt → evidence-linked feedback →
  challenge → reflection loop); audience-compatible consent before private
  examples enter classes (YSD-4056).
- **Depends on:** Metis (rubrics/assessment), Oshun (tenancy/roles), Iris
  (accommodations), rights resolver (teaching action, YSD-4002).
- **Non-negotiable:** no global ranking of learners' taste; mastery evidence
  only (YSD-4076 safe-language regression).

## 6. Researcher or critic (§6.6)

- **Jobs:** citable corpus, explicit interpretive claims, source lineage,
  comparison tables, disagreement handling, export, reproducibility across
  analysis versions.
- **Journeys:** §7.2 deconstruct a scene (rigorous variant), §7.1 corpus
  building.
- **Acceptance items:** YSD-2033 InterpretationClaim with counterevidence/
  dissent; YSD-2111 contradictory-claim coexistence (no last-write-wins);
  YSD-22014 (notebook with durable citations, versions, disagreement); YSD-2036
  ComparisonSet with frozen snapshot; Section 15 exports/citation formats
  (BibTeX/RIS/CSL primitives already in nisaba per YSD-0102); YSD-2050
  AnalysisRun versioning for reproducibility; Gate 19 (YSD-18148 — impact
  reviews never rewrite accepted scholarly history).
- **Depends on:** Nisaba (citation/notebook), Sophia (claims/provenance),
  immutability guarantees (YSD-0013).
- **Non-negotiable:** accepted records immutable through versioned supersession;
  exports remain verifiable (signed, YSD-4125).

## Coverage check

Every §6 persona maps to at least one §7 journey, at least three Section 22
acceptance proofs, and at least one non-negotiable safety/integrity constraint.
Items that serve every persona (rights decisions, epistemic distinction,
deletion) are listed once under the persona that stresses them hardest, not
repeated. The Section 22.3 completion audit should verify each persona row
against shipped behavior, not against this matrix alone.
