EU AI Act Classification#

Risk class: Limited risk.

Disclosure text: AI commentary is machine-generated presentation content. It is labeled on screen and never feeds gameplay simulation, ranking, or enforcement.

Inputs#

  • KO, round-end, replay, and scoreboard event summaries.
  • Ruleset, fighter, stage, and broadcast-mode metadata.
  • Approved commentator persona and locale settings.
  • Safety-filtered match analysis context.

Player Controls#

Opt-out path: Settings > Audio > Commentary > Human/authored commentary only.

When disabled or unavailable, V2 falls back to preauthored commentary decks, muted commentary, or subtitle-only presentation.

Safety And Evaluation#

  • Rollback isolation: no commentary output is deterministic gameplay input.
  • Latency gate: p99 KO commentary must remain at or below 800 ms from gameplay event to subtitle/audio enqueue.
  • Safety fallback: failed, blocked, or over-budget generation falls back to authored commentary.
  • Audit export: @themis/accountability retains the AI-system-of-record with regulator-ready evidence links.
